Many educational leaders try to solve problems by adding programs. Wrong! The key to improvement is subtracting. Eliminate all inefficient programs and focus on the one most important metric in each school. Then implement strategies that remove obstacles preventing success.

Trying to corral change is a difficult proposition at best. It’s made easier by establishing collaborative relationships and practical strategies to move forward. Helping people deal with losing what has been and not fearing what will be is key to driving positive change.
