Kenya is facing a worsening flood crisis due to the combined effects of El Niño and the ongoing March-May 2024 long rains.

Another heartbreaking news

Hossam El-Din Awad Mohamed Khalifa, a volunteer from Sudanese Red Crescent, lost his life while on duty in Tuti Island in Khartoum State on 10 April. Eight other people were injured during the incident.

A volunteer paramedic from the Palestine Red Crescent got injured while on duty in the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm.

We wish him a speedy and full recovery.
