Teaching seems to be the only profession where adults aren’t always treated like adults—like not being trusted to make decisions or micromanaged. I LOVE LEADERS who value teachers' expertise and judgment. Empowering teachers shouldn’t be the exception—it should be the standard.

Too many people think it’s the teacher’s job to have just the right song and dance to please the students into maybe paying attention to the content. Reality check, it’s our job to deliver content. It’s the students job to take in and apply said content. We’re not entertainers.
