A big thank you from Cardiff Council Benefits Advice and Finance Department for raising a total of £900 at their Christmas fancy dress party.

We would like to thank everyone who has raised funds for JAF in 2019. We have been grateful by your support from setting up events through our 'Just giving' page. Also a big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund and Zurich Community Trust for your invaluable funding.

This is what we have been able to achieve: Intervention support by creating a safe space where the person feels valued, supported, understood and listened to through our 1:1 well-being and counselling programme. To date have we have carried out over 80 successful interventions.

Through our Prevention support we have delivered 30 Suicide Brief Intervention training sessions to over 500 people.This training gives people the confidence to support someone in a crisis.Our Postvention support has enabled us to support over 30 families bereaved through suicide

In 2020 we will strive to continue supporting people affected by mental health & suicide.

We will be closed during the Christmas period 20th December to the 6th January. If you are struggling or concerned about somebody else please contact the Samaritans number below.
