Actually last night as I normally do I was reading up on claires law etc and looking at women who had asked for a claires law to be done. What I found was many had been refused. On a support group when a woman had gone on a few dates with a man she asked women's advice on

People living with complex trauma don't see the world like others. They see through a lens of survival, coping, and sometimes, hope. Everyday they're looking for relief and validation, because the world that looks back at them rarely acknowledges what they're trying to overcome.

One phrase that is very triggering to abuse survivors is, “I would never have put up with that.” It makes them feel that they were weak for having endured it. It also implies they are partly to blame for ‘allowing’ themselves to be abused. The fact is that unless they've walked

When is the Labour government going to be vocal and put a stop to the fact that a man can rape a girl or woman, then have contact or full custody to the child born from the rape. Rapists must be stripped of their parental rights. Our governments have known about it for SIX

LBC Carol Vorderman Thank you Carol Vorderman - if society is biased against men in the #familycourt' as this father claims, why do at least 92% of cases result in direct contact when approx 70%+ of cases contain domestic abuse allegations? Because courts favour abusive men dera.ioe.ac.uk/id/eprint/9145…

Two brothers were sentenced to 11 years in prison after hosting illegal streams for football matches, but a famous peadophile who had a computer full of child pornography get two year suspended sentences serving just six months in prison, make it make sense.

Someone said to me today, if a child was upset whilst at school about going home to their parents at the end of the school day..there would be (understandably) a lot of concern from school. YET when their child is anxious about going TO school..no one is listening.

The term "reactive abuse" unfairly blames victims for their defensive reactions to provocation in abusive situations. I would argue that "reactive defense" is a more accurate way to describe these reactions. shadowsofcontrol.com/articles/react… #reactiveabuse #coercivecontrol #gaslighting

‘Killed here’ Blue plaques can be spotted on the side of some buildings in the UK to signify that a famous person once lived there. And today - 16 September - seven more plaques have been added to homes in Britain. But these ones are different. mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/k… They are

I agree with this actually and I'm sure reann and a number of others will too. It's always the problem with these services they ignore complaints or bury them. They are dealt with by the professionals and organisations at fault.

Worse than the men who commit these atrocities Bloody hell LBC where are you getting some of these. Another woman claiming that in 40 years, she's never seen a drug addict, convicted rapist, abuser, a child sex offender get custody or the child unsupervised with them. No

To add to this I made an urgent call to Sarah Taylor the other night after a conversation I overheard. Yes it can be verified. A man who's involved in a father's group telling another man to claim he had been a victim of #DomesticAbuse because they have to tell white lies
