Ok sorted out flights from Tulsa to ST.Louis and from.St.Louis to Nashville. Cashed in our original return ticket to the UK and booked tickets from Nashville to Birmingham via Dublin.

We were subjected to homophonic abuse in one bar last night from a couple of customers not happy with Nic and Myself kissing. Luckily the owner threw them out and apologised to us

Almost time to go back to England for us. Glad Nic pointed out these are all UK times or we would have missed our flight by hours 🤣

Before flying back to UK today we have popped to the Hendersonville Memory Gardens to visit the grave of Johnny & June Cash

2½ hours until we fly. I've checked us in and for all our connecting flights too. Just time to relax in the airport lounge with complimentary drinks

We touch down in Heathrow in 2 hours time. Given the long delay going via Dublin to Birmingham after ie 8 hours we have decided to get a hire car from the airport drive to Birmingham drop the hire car off and pick our car up from Birmingham airport saving us about 6 hours

Great Nic flies through customs/migrations as sh has a British passport but I get pulled because I have an American passport and must look suspicious

Arrived at Birmingham Airport. Luggage transferred to our own car now just waiting to return our hire car so we can head home to Halesowen
