These used plastics are supposedly meant to be recycled in the USA, somehow they end up being shipped here in Kenya to be sold as they are. Most are already broken and therefore just trash! When you drop them in the bin, they might not be recycled! This adds to our waste problem!

And now this gives us double burdens of taking care of our waste and that of people who see our continent as dumping ground.

The children were divided into groups and each group given a topic on climate change to discuss. With resources like the #ClimateChangeDictionary and through discussions the children are gaining confidence in sharing their insights on climate issues. #myplanetmyfuture
