Just saw someone saying using the em-dash is a sign of something being written by AI, because real people rarely use it. This is terrible news for everyone like me who has an unhealthy emotional attachment to the em-dash.

My first peer-reviewed article was just published Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics! In it, we argue that pro-White and anti-minority attitudes are crucial to public support for J6. As we embark on a 2nd Trump term, this paper will help us understand continued public support of the MAGA movement.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that the website for manuscript central is *mc*.manuscriptcentral? It sounds like something you would order off the McDonalds dollar menu (and has about the same product quality).

I accepted an invitation to review for a journal, but the manuscript (MS) is full of track changes the author obviously forgot to accept before submitting. Is it appropriate to tell the editors to send the MS back to the author and that I will continue my review on a revised MS?
