I watched part of Daily Show debate coverage yesterday, and I appreciate that Jon Stewart -- a Dem, but definitely not Blue MAGA -- responded to the Cheney endorsement with simply "f*ck off" -- I don't like his politics, but at least there's some principles in them

serious question: why do liberals care if you vote for Jill Stein in a red state (of for that matter a blue state) that Harris isn't even campaigning in?

This was a logical conclusion of where Krystal and Saagar left and right populism-unity project was headed: youtube.com/watch?v=uWVmo7…

It really is astonishing that popular left media and political figures made zero attempt to analyze the end of covid support programs that slashed poverty and homelessness, the end of recommended isolation or back to office mandates through a capitalist/anti-capitalist lens

Um. Can someone explain to me how causing hundreds of pagers to explode, regardless of where the people were at the time, and thus endangering the lives of thousands of civilians, is not a terrorist attack?

In my observation, this is the first time in the p*ndemic that there has been fairly significant media coverage while gov't and public health have been almost entirely silent--usually they MSM and gov't are in tandem on c*vid. Not entirely sure what to make of it.

Yes, we do need to bring back masks in medical settings “The duty of care doesn’t land on patients. It’s the clinicians’ job to ensure patients don’t pick up an unintended infection. Patients have a right to safety in health care facilities.” thestar.com/opinion/contri…

If you're a professor who is difficult about disability accommodations (including complaining about too many students having them), you're actively participating in a culture that gatekeeps disabled people from academia.

the idea that there are too many disability accommodations in college is a confession that you think there are too many disabled people in college in the first place

The absolute biggest fuck you to any and all academics who absolutely gave up on pandemic protections and now are like, “There’s no way this many people can be disabled and chronically-ill.”

The "it's 2024. How can you still be masking" ppl are telling on themselves pretty hard about the limits of their empathy and their lack of conviction
