Former teacher here. 👋 Hate that “data”, “rigor” & other words/phrases from the corporate business world have seeped into our schools…pushing out words like “movement”, “whole child” & of course, “play”. Sign of the times, but it’s not too late to reverse course!

Trumps odd behavior & frantic calls for redirection away from all things Epstein leads me to two conclusions: 1. He’s on the list. 2. It really doesn’t exist, but they did such a good job creating this monster & now they can’t control it. Fascinating.

Went to see the new #Superman last night and I gotta say I loved the positive tone & the stark humanity of Superman was inspiring. I mean, he is one of us, only not, but isn’t that what we all are? We’re a wonderfully diverse melting pot here in America, & we shouldn’t forget it!

I agree with Obama: Democrats need to toughen up. To me that means remembering who we are…the party of working folks, marginalized communities, livable wages, healthcare, & now, local control, as we fight against federal overreach. No more navel-gazing. Let’s get to work. 💪
