This morning the Storm Prediction Center expanded their Level 3/5 risk to include all of Central Illinois. Severe storms will be possible Friday evening and early Friday night capable of 70+ mph winds, an isolated tornado and 1” diameter hail. #ilwx

Illinois will likely add many qlcs tornadoes to the 2025 count tomorrow. Pretty intense, derecho-like squall line will move through from 8pm-2am. Straight line wind gusts of 60-80+ mph are also expected. #ilwx
