Lead NFL draft analyst, Bears blogs @WCGridiron. Prospect interviews, mock drafts, awful tweets. Mizzou fan. Thoughts are my own.

Rome Odunze already being questionable for SNF after his injury is a very good sign. I wouldn’t rush anything with him — don’t want an injury aggravation as a rookie. But #Bears appear to have avoided anything major, which is a huge sigh of relief!

The #Bears were one of just three teams to have multiple top-20 defensive tackles in PFF grades. Both Gervon Dexter and Andrew Billings ended up with above-average grades at 68.1 and 68.9, respectively. Hoping they build on that in Week 2.

#Bears GM Ryan Poles is slated to attend Mizzou-Boston College today, per Eli Hoff. 2025 draft prospects of note: • Mizzou WR Luther Burden • Mizzou RBs Nate Noel & Marcus Carroll • Mizzou WR Theo Wease • Mizzou OL Armand Membou • Boston College CB Khari Johnson

Alabama WR Ryan Williams is 17 years old and the youngest player in the FBS and already has 4 touchdowns in 8+ quarters of play 😱

As far as upside goes, Jalen Milroe might have more than any QB I’ve seen in the 2025 draft class. Great athlete, nice arm, serious flashes of accuracy. Why he’s barely in QB1 conversations in a weak QB class is beyond me.

Last year, #Mizzou had a big-legged kicker in Harrison Mevis who came in clutch on many occasions They might have another stud kicker (who’s skinnier) in redshirt freshman Blake Craig 👀

East Carolina hasn’t had a first-round pick in the NFL Draft since Chris Johnson in 2008. I think that changes this year with cornerback Shavon Revel. He has size, speed, instincts and ball skills. He’s the total package.

This pick-6 got called back, but it doesn’t change that South Carolina DB Nick Emmanwori is a stud draft prospect. Massive DB at 6’3” and 227 lbs. Hard hitter with good speed who can play deep safety, slot and in the box. Think he goes Day 2 in 2025.

Too many people have forgotten about Raheim Sanders in this loaded 2025 draft class of RBs. They call him “Rocket” for a reason — he’s a big dude who runs hard and fast. His 2022 tape looked awesome, and he might be getting back to that level now.

Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke hasn’t gotten nearly enough draft coverage. Off to a great start this year. They’re currently up 18 over UCLA. He’s looked smart, accurate and precise. Could be a late-round pick this year if he keeps this up.
