The uncreated grace of God is a “super-celestial fire” which burns some because they lack purification, while others it enlightens in proportion to the progress they have made in virtue

If you’re an American you need to come to grips with the undeniable fact that you are infused with countless misinformed predispositions and false notions involving how you understand your faith. Upon acknowledgement of this truth, you can fast track your pursuit of truth ☦︎

Oh, the irony of evangelicalism #veneration 🫠 They’ll prostrate themselves and sprawl down on all fours kissing their lips to American soil, but will be offended at the veneration of Christ, His Mother and the Holy Saints… Can’t make this stuff up!

The sacraments of the Orthodox Church are not directed at appeasing or propitiating God and His justice like they’re understood in the West. Rather, they are used to restore communion with the One who is Life by conquering death and its inseparable offspring, sin.

So many of us have confused sacrifice with self-denial when in reality sacrifice unto God is a reciprocal gift of friendship ☦︎

St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 11:1 "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." What low Church evangelicals need to understand is that when we study the lives of the saints, we learn how to live out the gospel. When we honor them, we honor Christ in them. Glory to God ☦︎

Alter calls are not biblical, nor do they have any historical precedence within Christianity prior to 18th century. Alter calls are spiritual manipulation that result in countless false converts.

It’s wild to really see the consistent importance and great reverence of saintly relics from the literal first centuries of Christianity The Church is literally built on the relics of the saints ☦︎

Rewatching Redeemed Zoomer 👑 and Jay Dyer conversation on YouTube and… All I can say is HOW is RZ not EO yet? Jay Dyer consistently dismantles and destroys Protestantism as a whole over and over again… Protestantism is doomed. Don’t try to “save it.” Embrace the truth.

Just a reminder that St. John the Baptist was both the perfect picture of the monastic life and the evangelistic life. He was perpetually secluded. Fasted. Unkept and untidy. Extreme asceticism. The people flocked to him. Many thought he was mad. Truly monastic and evangelical.

The same theological principles apply to icon veneration as do relic veneration— and relic veneration is an undeniably foundational piece of early Christian worship. OT, NT and today. It’s all there. The puzzle pieces fit. Embrace it don’t try to explain it away.
