Massive news here. #BoiseState, #SanDiegoState, #FresnoState, and #ColoradoState appear to at least be having discussions about joining the rebuilt PAC 12, effective 2026. No statements from the schools mentioned yet. Will provide any additional info I can find ASAP

Pete Thamel reports that the plan has momentum behind it, and the expectation is that the four tabbed #MountainWest schools will make statements within the next few days, if they are going to join the new PAC 12, that is.

I've talked with multiple coaches/staff at Boise State in the last 30 minutes who were surprised and not aware of the Yahoo Sports report. They didn't have any knowledge. The group of people in the know on this stuff is apparently very small.
