Recruitment is open for my final PhD study and we are looking for both dance teachers and students to participate in the research. This study is part of a larger collaborative project between the Uni of Birmingham and One Dance UK investigating self-harm in private dance education.

Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

10 years ago I started my aerial arts journey. 9 years ago I started teaching. 7 years ago I had a question. 2 years ago I started my degree. Today, with my ethics application approved, I formally start the journey to answer that question. Happy Laura🥹 Wish me luck! 🎪🧠✨
