The wave watched by NHC, has an 80% chance for development over the next 7 days. 🔵 High pressure will dictate where it ends up. If the high stays north, then the system should stay over open waters 🔴If the high moves south, then the system could be more of an Island concern

2PM TROPICS: A broad low is likely to become a tropical depression by this weekend. The Lesser Antilles and Leeward Islands should monitor for potential impacts mid next week depending on its track.

King Tide season is just about here. Here's the dates of when tidal flooding will be possible in South Florida, with October 5-12 projected to have the highest water levels.

Fronts and trapped moisture are going to keep it unsettled for the foreseeable future with a widespread 3-6" forecast the next 7 days. For tomorrow, rain is likely again for the Keys while random downpours will be possible across Dade and Broward.

Unsettled times continue this weekend with more clouds than sunshine and passing storms in the afternoons as moisture stays trapped across South Florida

Great start to our Sunday this morning with fewer clouds and mostly dry conditions. It's going to get warm real fast these next few hours!

The rinse and repeat pattern continues this entire week as yet another front emerges from the north and stalls out. This will lead to the daily risk for afternoon storms and flooding.

Darker days are ahead whether you like it or not! In one month from now, sunset is at 7PM and then in the 5PM hour once Daylight Saving Time ends in early November.

In case you're counting down: South Florida rainy season doesn't have too much longer (there's just over a month left).
