Chubb update! The new office building for the insurance company is nearly complete at 20th & Arch. This will add approximately 1,250 *new* jobs and will be the global company’s largest office in the world when it opens next year. Their current Old City office is now for sale.

Plans were just submitted to the Historical Commission for 1221 Pine St., which is proposing a new side yard/wall, basement access, attic update, and roof deck. The property sold in June for $825,000, so we're excited this will get some TLC and a new lease on life. More below 👇

914-24 S. Broad St. received zoning permits for demo and construction yesterday, a key step towards this rising out of the ground. This pocket of South Broad St. has seen an incredible amount of change over the last several years, with hundreds of units already completed.

UPDATE: It appears a medical marijuana dispensary is coming to the building at 1323 N. Front St. that we wrote about last month. This makes the recent subdivision more understandable; perhaps we will still see something rise on the empty parcel next door in the future.
