Trying to build Envoy proxy, it uses a (Google?) tool called Bazel. None of the Linux systems I use have Bazel, not Fedora28. And I prefer not to enable random YUM repos…. I dislike autoconf as much as anyone else, but come on. Everything doesn’t have to be reinvented, poorly.

It's pretty annoying that I pay top $ to get 1Gbps internet with Xfinity , yet, I have the same 1TB data cap as everyone paying less. And they want $50/month in addition to what I already pay. Very tempted to cancel our other Xfinity services (TV, phone, and security).

Is there a (commercial) alternative to 1Password that can import my iCloud stored wallet? I absolutely hate that they switched to a subscription model, rather than just letting my buy the Apps (which I gladly do). I *really* do not want my passwords in their storage.

Well, I haven’t been using Twitter in a long time, but here’s Leify! I’m still torn on all this Social Media stuff though … So, what should I do ? Facebook purely for family (because they are too lame to use e.g. Slack), and Twitter for keeping up with the world of nerds?

Funny story. Comcast broke my internet, after three week of debugging, I replaced their Xfinity router with a self owned Netgear. Problems solved, except oddly enough this increases my monthly cost by $10. Comcast bundling is strange.

Thinking of picking up Twitter again, I mean, how bad could it be?

After several long nights of fighting cmake and build Ninja, I finally got Swift to build on Fedora. Not pretty, but it works.
