Next week our 2 campaign teams for Student Body President will be participating in a friendly debate! Seating capacity is limited to 40 people, so first come first serve! If you are unable to make it in person, WSGA will be live-streaming the event as well.

March is Women’s History Month, and we will once again take this month to share some facts about the impact of women in history as well as Facts of the Day! Today’s fact is about Autoimmune diseases, and its impact on women still today.

As this month is Women’s History Month, WSGA would like to take time to recognize women who have made significant impacts in their various fields. Our first two features are Susana Baca and Jane Adam’s, submitted by the Modern Language and Social Work departments!

April 1 marks the start of Sexual Assault Awareness month: last night WSGA passed the following resolution in support of those who have experienced sexual assault. WSGA stands with survivors of sexual assault and will continue to provide awareness towards this ongoing issue.

As WSGA stands in support of survivors of sexual assault, here is a list of resources provided by Washburn to those who have experienced or know of someone who has experienced sexual assault.
