YCSD students are diving into the Game of Life! Our first of four interactive sessions kicked off with Nutrition & Meal Planning, guided by our Sodexo team. Students got hands-on in the kitchen, learning safety, technique & the art of balancing nutritional value. #EngageYCSD

Day two of Game of Life was a success! Students were taught valuable tips for safe driving and maintenance to encourage responsible behavior. We practiced changing tires and checking fluid levels and fortuitously witnessed a passerby needing a car battery jump. #LeadYCSD

VDOE will be in Virginia Beach next Monday for their Commonwealth Conversations as an opportunity for families, educators and community members to discuss how schools and communities can build new norms around phone usage. Monday, July 22 4:30 - 6 p.m. Tallwood High School
