From 13 December 2023, the way to access Emergency care at St James’s Hospital will change, by entering through the main entrance to Chancellor’s wing. This is the same building as before, just come through the main entrance instead and follow the signs. leedsth.nhs.uk/about-us/news-…

On a daily basis Yorkshire Ambulance take around 180 patients a day to the 2 emergency departments in Leeds. Did you know? Last year 36.7% of patients who called 999 and received a response from us did not need to be taken to hospital by ambulance because it was more appropriate for them to receive the care they needed elsewhere or they did not require further treatment.
