I love fanfic prose. I love flowery language. I love big, dramatic metaphors. I love long emotional sequences. I love lingering in language and emotion, experimenting with it, playing with it, letting things get overwritten because I like exploring it so much. I want more of it.

Being afraid of reading "problematic authors" is due to your own insecurity with your beliefs and identity. You think that if you read "bad people", you'll become bad yourself, soaking up their toxins like a dim sponge. This is because you are stupid and can't trust yourself.

i used to think people treat fictional characters like real people because theyโ€™re too online and get no real human interaction, but iโ€™m a loser with no friends myself and can still tell the difference so it really just is a skill issue
