Had a wonderful day chatting to friends old and new at today’s Cardiff Met Doctoral Researcher Group conference! Cherry on top to be awarded third place in the ‘Research findings oral presentation’ category - discussing my first PhD study- delighted and grateful! Hopefully see everyone soon🥰

This year I was so lucky to chair a group of fantastic humans that devoted all their litle free time in representing their doctoral researcher peers and help me organise this year's doctoral researcher conference. Couldn't have done it without them 💙 Cardiff Met Doctoral Researcher Group

Extremelly tired but feeling really happy about how the Doctoral researcher conference 2023 went. All the work and effort was totally worth it. I am really proud of all doctoral researchers who presented their outstanding work today, so much talent! You make CMet extraordinary.

One month ago today the Royal Society of Medicine The Royal Society awarded me with the Harvey prize in vascular medicine & lipids for my research on CPET responses in PAD. Looking at my happy face in the photo, you can probably tell just how much it meant to me 😊
