Just south of the arctic circle weather is amazing sea flat not a cloud in the sky. Might get in the outside hot tub at about 5pm as we cross into it. 😃

En route from Isafjordur to Reykjavik. Straight into the teeth of storm Floris. Could be interesting from 10 pm onwards, might not be able to dock at Reykjavik depending on wind speed. Breaking out the sea sick pills later!

Well that was a bit of a none event! Felt a few bumps during the night but nothing dramatic and arrived safe and sound in Reykjavik! 😃

Wind up to force 9 now but only a moderate swell. This ship is very steady there’s obviously some movement but not much!

Bloody hell! Weather has been so bad last couple of days. As a result we are so far behind schedule that we won’t stop at Halifax. One of the places I really wanted to see 😢 so next landfall is New York on 8th !

Turning into a proper pea souper out there I can barely see the sea. Fog horn going. Can’t see front of ship from halfway. We’re now on a 150 mile diversion to avoid ice off Newfoundland and we’re passing close to where Titanic sank as I type! 😂😂

Forgot to mention that during the Force 9 I was having a pee when the ship suddenly rocked making me take a step back. Luckily my ‘emergency stop’ mechanism still works so no accidents. I still got thrown out of the restaurant though……

Got slightly inebriated last night, so me and the missus decided to put on a dancing display in the ballroom for all the common people #charitybeginsathome

Traveling through the Grand Banks and Flemish Pass (North Atlantic) today. Apparently famous for an abundance of sea life and dense fog banks. I hope to see some dolph………. Oh!

Well that was embarrassing! Went into the wrong shop to get a battery replaced 🤦‍♂️ luckily the apple staff directed me to the right place……..😇
