Bhutan has at least 302 Red Panda individuals, according to the National Red Panda Survey Report 2023 launched in Thimphu today. The Royal Government of Bhutan announced the findings on red pandas to celebrate the World Ranger Day on July 31. WWF WWF News WWF US IKI Germany

To support Royal Bhutan Police counter illegal wildlife trade, WWF 🇧🇹 & Department of Forests and Park Services provided 3 X-ray machines today in Thimphu. As part of the support 46 police were trained in X-ray operation & on conservation policies and illegal wildlife trade.
