Afternoon mini-goal was to hike to the tiny mountain side restaurant 1,000ft above Zermatt. One closed trail 🚷 = mucho round the houses for me. The beer at the top was well earned (& didn't last long!)

The Matterhorn Glacier Trail very much lived up to it's name 😍

🚂 up 🥾 down today, Gornergrat all the way back down to Zermatt, 7 miles and 5,000ft of elevation loss. Views though 👌

Nightshirt pacemonkey duties again last night. Slam competed ✅ ... however an unplanned dip into the Thames at mile 99 almost scuppered things! Thank goodness I was there to document it 📸🤣
