Nice to have a #haiku & a #poem published this week: the #senryu in a haiku anthology: ‘tea all the time it takes’ (available on Amazon). Coincidentally & appropriately, the longer poem is set in a cafe in Vienna & appears in Flare 26, launched on Thurs at the Sunflower Sessions

I enjoyed Bealtaine Festival #30 tea party IMMA today. Great to see #poetry front & centre, with poet-in-residence Anne Tannam reading her commissioned poems & Pat Boran also smashing it. There were also two commissioned choral pieces, sung by the fab forgetmenotchoir 💪🏻

Despite yesterday’s wet weather, I really enjoyed my day Dalkey Book Festival. All three interviews I attended (with various pals) were brilliant: Elaine Feeney by Madeleine Keane, Colum McCann by Merve Emre & Elif Shafak by MK (again). All sessions were well-organised & well-attended
