A shoutout of thanks to Workbench It’s so easy to play with the 60,000 + #provenances analysed during the Swiss #Glamhack2020 slicing and viewing the data in different ways. Here: top 30 Uncertainty Index artworks from Harvard Art Museums. #FAIR #ipad

BSnyderSF Women At Warp I'm using Workbench! It's like ... data tools simplified in a super clean interface that lets even total beginners with no practical experience at all do a good deal of work I'm looking at the PPP data and did a pretty good first pass at cleaning 88,000ish entries!

My feature for The Open Notebook is out! I wrote about how science writers can build on the skills they already have to use data in their work (spoiler: the most important skill is ASKING QUESTIONS). (1/6) theopennotebook.com/2020/07/28/int…

@DarrellCarvalho @KellyPuenteLB Not a full nerdbox, but here are the tools I used: Excel for cleaning/organizing, Workbench for analysis and Flourish for visualizations. Some manual labor in between bc incident locations weren't always in the same format. The data came from a CPRA.
