And I’d be remiss not to mention walk-on running back Skip Velotta. Audric Estimé took a night off from team periods. He looked fine, chipper and walking around talking to guys, but he didn’t get in the action. Velotta got some reps, and he made the most of them. Team favorite.

Normally a freshman walk-on wide receiver toasting a surefire safety starter would be a cause for concern. But Jordan Faison has proved to be more than a walk-on wideout for Notre Dame. He bursts out of his break to beat Xavier Watts. Nice hands. Gets a foot down. Baller.

Got to chat with Chase Ketterer about getting the chance to prepare the Irish defense by playing the role of the Navy quarterback at practice. The New Prairie alum says he takes great pride in his role and that coming to Notre Dame is the best decision he’s ever made.

Thank you to all the players, coaches, fans and friends at Notre Dame for making my four years special. I’m excited to be graduating soon from such a prestigious university. With that being said I’m officially in the transfer portal and looking for a new home. Tape coming soon.
