June is #PRIDE2024 month. Pride Month is an annual celebration of the many contributions made by the LGBTQ+ community to history, society and cultures worldwide. Pride month is about acceptance, equality and being proud of who you are no matter who you love. #woodbrookvale

On Friday 24th May, 29 of our students went to watch Loughborough Lightening vs Strathclyde Sirens in the Vitality Netball Superleague. The event took place at the Sir David Wallace Arena at Loughborough University . We hope the students felt really inspired after their trip.

Yesterday, we were in Woodbrook Vale for a full day of RSE educating their Year 10s on Consent and Abuse. The students engaged really well and we loved discussing the nuances of the topic together ❤️ #love4liferse

On Thursday 6th June 2024, the 'Lighting of the Beacon' event was held in Queens Park to Commemorate the 80th D-Day Anniversary. The Beacon was one of the thousands up and down the country lit to mark 80 years since the Allied invasion during the Second World War.
