A star is lost. Plasma physicist Prof. Bimla Buti passed away on 24 Feb'24. She was the founder of the Plasma Society of India, the first Indian woman physicist fellow of Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and TWAS - The World Academy of Sciences, and had many accomplishments to her name. May she rest in power!
