A tough but exciting game for their last game of the season for #Wire #U16 Green v #WestLancs at Edge Hill University y’day. They fought to the end, but couldn’t quite edge back before the final buzzer! Final score 60:63. Good effort lads & looking good for next season as 2nd year U16s!

Basketball England has this afternoon announced a suspension of all activity from 9am tomorrow (Sat 14 March) for an initial 2-week period. As an affiliated club this means that all Wire training and games will be cancelled until at least Monday 30 March.

Basketball England has, unsurprisingly, announced that there will be no more games played in the 19/20 season. Cheshire Wire continues to assess the impact this will have on the club’s activities. We will continue to communicate with our members as new developments arise.

Stay healthy and active, following social distancing advice and take care of one another. We’re keeping in touch with all our players and parents via TeamApp and WhatsApp.
