If Harvey Elliott was some young German/Spanish/Italian lad there would a massive clamour by fans to try get him signed. He defo got something. I think a year loan deal could be a good option for all.

The sad passing of Jota has really hit me for 6. Feels like the passing of a friend. So sad leaving behind his 3 littles ones and new wife. Rest in peace Diogo, You'll never walk alone.

As much as I love the game itself, it's the connection with the club, it's players, it's supporters and all the embodiment of being as one, which makes it special. I've never met Diogo in person but am mourning his loss like a friend. Rest in peace Diogo. #YNWADiogo

Loving how rattled all other teams supporters are with the signing of Ekitike after Writz. All trying to play it down to give them some hope. #LFC

It's lucky #LFC invested the Coutinho money in bitcoin. The £142 million is now worth 2.5 billion so even after £300m spent, we have another £2200 million to spend. #Isak at £120, drop in the ocean 😉

I think the priority is another CB, we can't spend as much as we have and leave ourselves short in the CB area surely? One injury away from being in trouble 😬 #LFC

Well can't say that was a deserved win and credit to Newcastle for the fight back. A lot of work for Slot to do. Team not gelling yet. Rio however wow! Nerves of steel for a 16 year old making his debut in PL. Take a bow lad #LFC

I wonder how all the Newcastle fan accounts feel after peddling it will be £150m or nothing all summer. Don't agree with how Isak went about getting the transfer but delighted we got our main target in the end. #LFC

Just not working at the moment. Need to go back to basics. So poor again defensively and just disjointed up top. Always gonna be difficult to bed in so many new players but need to may sit somewhere out while they integrate. #LFC

Gareth Willmott (@willmott82) 's Twitter Profile Photo

People really need to understand that bedding in 4 or 5 new players into a team takes time. Slot hasn't been helped with a few injuries and some players not fit so has been forced into some team sections. It will gel but there will be bumps along the way. #LFC

Terrible again. So poor defensively and lack of ideas going forward. League gone. Let's hope the rot stops quick enough to get Champions League football 😬 #LFC

Can't understand why Liverpool haven't gone back in at £20m for Guehi. Should have just done the deal for Jan in the summer 🤦. #LFC Great business by Man City despite what you may or may not think of them.
