Wildmoor Heath's Year 6 pupils are enjoying a challenging residential week in Snowdonia National Park at the outstanding Rhos Y Gwaliau Centre.

Year 6 canoed and bult a fire yesterday, working well as a team.

HEAT WARNING: The MET Office are predicting temperatures exceeding 30 degrees for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Due to the heat, we suggest children wear non-school uniform this week. They can wear shorts, t-shirts and trainers. No crop tops, sandals or flip flops.

Our amazing Wildmoor Heath School choir has started back! First song for this academic year is the iconic ‘Running up that Hill’ by Kate Bush. The choir has lots of exciting things planned for this term - we’re hoping to bring some joy to our community over the coming months!

What a fantastic start back for our football team! We are delighted to have so many of our pupils join. The club runs on Thursdays for years 4,5 and 6. Next week the league matches start… go team Wildmoor!

The year 6 netball team played in a netball tournament today against 6 other schools at Kings Academy. It was a brilliant experience for them. Well done year 6!

A squad of 11 Wildmoor children competed in a football tournament against 18 other schools. It was fabulous to see the children take part and work together as a team. The team came 2nd in their group and just missed out on the semi final. Well done Wildmoor!

Year 2 have been busy! Micheal from the TBH Partnership came to visit as part of their science learning. He taught them about the different animals and plants that you can find on the heath. The children have been busy drawing and writing to create their own non-fiction book!

Our lovely PTA and parent helpers have done an amazing job at school - weeding, jet-washing, painting the garage, setting up a herb garden, window cleaning and much more. We are so lucky yo have such an amazing PTA! Thank you so much to all those that came to help!
