found out sugar cubes were invented by a husband in the 1840s so his wife wouldn't keep hurting herself chopping giant sugar loaves just to sweeten her tea. so he made perfect little cubes. just for her. imagine being loved like that
It’s crazy to think that in June of 2021 I had a stroke and by fall of that year I had completed this piece. Art helped heal my brain. It helped me regain skills. It gave me something to hope for! #coloredpencil
Hey… those “upload your work to this nft site so I can purchase it,” accounts… have no intention of buying. They just want your mint (generation) fee to their bs site. Do it on your own terms and be realistic. Don’t fall for that shit! #artists use a REAL market on your terms!
I’m in the final phase of my novel. THE FINAL PHASE.
I will be self-publishing so expect massive amounts of self-promotion soon. Beta readers say they can’t put it down❣️This isn’t your typical vampire romance.
The fact publishers and readers assume em dashes and ellipses mean the work is AI is so annoying. I have receipts of when I started my work in word, printed it and marked it all up for edits, then moved it to pages for final draft and formatting. AI can’t do that.
I refuse to use to use AI to create my book covers. Instead I will be painting them in oil myself! I also refuse to use AI to write my works. I use spell check and grammar check. Then I read the book over more times than I want to admit and change, change, change until done.
My 5 year old nephew has gotten on the kick of saying things like, “That will be FOREVER,” & “I’ll never have that again!” Today when my 7 year old didn’t get up at the crack of dawn, nephew said they would never play again and then yelled “IM DONE WITH HIM!!” 🤣 The drama!
Me to my 7 yr old: Hey that’s oil paint. It’s not dry. Be careful dancing around that please.
Him: (Continues to wiggle and dance while discussing Jurassic Park lore) I know!
🤦♀️
🤣 Yes I moved the piece
