#TheGlenturret Triple.N. Green fruit but mostly apple, cooked cereal - maybe a dough, cinnamon, icing sugar. Its a fresh fruit pie with a lot of apples in it.

#TheGlenturret Triple.P. Still very fruity, more pear now though. Sour grapefruit, apple sherbet, sweet white grape, citrus. Little nip of alcohol but it tastes like fruit. Finish: Sour apple. Its complex for an "entry level" dram, needs a little time but its good stuff 👍

#TheGlenturret 12.N. Strawberry jam, big wood spice, dusty dunnage, leather, something savory to - a savory herd thing. Lovely stuff this

#TheGlenturret 12.P. The dunnage and strawberry is there, milk chocolate, tobacco leaf, big on cinder toffee. Finishes fruity with a bit of sour grapefruit. Fruitier than the nose suggested. Interesting stuff, i like it.

#TheGlenturret 10.N. Savory herb, still fruity, the peat is more of thin layer than a hit, black pepper, slightly medicinal, barley sugar and fruit. You could spend a lot of time on this one.

#TheGlenturret Its reminds me of a hot day when it rains, you get that damp foliage, grass smell as the rain evaporates quickly. Thats what came to mind for me.

#TheGlenturret 10.P. Sweet malt, citrus, bbq pineapple. Caramel, herbs, damp grass. Finishes smoky lemon. Really could spend a while with this, lots going on. Seems well balanced and very well put together. 👍

#TheGlenturret Im impressed with that one. Its what we have tasted all evening but with a layer of smoke. They have got the distillery character in without overpowering it with peat. Fruityness with a layer of smoke. Lovely stuff.

#TheGlenturret I enjoyed those, standout for me is the 10, very well put together dram. Also really like the last paragraph on page 15 of the book. Embracing the little differences in their new make.
