Most schools were built as day schools—with no provision for meals. A lasting solution must include kitchens & energy-saving stoves. Our draft school feeding policy, built on a homegrown model, offers the direction we need. We wish Lauren a successful & impactful stay in Uganda.

Hunger Fighters Uganda supported by WFP Uganda, held a nutrition sensitization & vegetable distribution at Kasonga HCIII in Kyangwali. 56 lactating mothers received bundles of carrots, onions, & spinach at immunization day. Focus was on balanced diets, food prep, & kitchen gardening.
