Unfortunately, the terms of the lease of the pool mean that  The Community Pool cannot generate the capital needed in order to create an environmentally efficient and economically viable swimming pool for the long term.

Therefore the directors have taken the decision that The Community Pool cannot continue trading in these circumstances.

The directors of The Community Pool and the management of WalthamForestCollege are discussing the future of the pool in the hope that it can reopen for community use and education some time soon.
