There has been a noticeable improvement in our performances this month but I'm still concerned with how many shots we're conceding. That's 56 shots against in our last three games, which is an average of 18.7-per-game. Against Leicester, Wolves and Bournemouth. ⚒️

It looks a lot better going forward, with 67 shots over the last three games (22.3-per-game). You would expect that against Leicester, Wolves and Bournemouth. But the other concern is we've scored just four goals in that time. This still isn't sustainable. ⚒️

West Ham in 2024: - 46 games played (fewest since 2020) - 12 games won (fewest since 1976) - 7 home games won (fewest since 2001) - 59 goals scored (fewest since 2019) - 90 goals conceded (most since 1967) - 7 clean sheets (fewest since 2008) Irons. 😤⚒️

If it wasn’t a penalty yesterday, this wasn’t a penalty. You can’t cry ‘conspiracy’ when the very same ‘conspiracy’ has previously worked in your favour. Stop crying. It’s incredibly embarrassing.

Is Graham Potter the right man to replace Julen Lopetegui? ⚒ West Ham are closer to the chaos Potter dealt with at Chelsea than the structure at Brighton, we will find how good he really is 🪄👀 Will Pugh | #COYI #WHUFC

Sick and tired of listening to presenters and pundits speaking about West Ham while also displaying absolutely zero knowledge of the club and how the fans feel. The sheer level of ignorance and arrogance towards the club is genuinely insulting. ⚒️

We’re the 16th most valuable club in the world and yet we’re being told a ‘powerhouse’ like Aston Villa (22nd) have more of a right to be competing for Europe than we do! ⚒️

Julen Lopetegui has shown more class and dignity in a single Instagram post than DS could only dream of showing in a million lifetimes. To say “once a Hammers, always a Hammer” after the way he’s just been treated is nothing short of incredible. Good luck to him. 👏🏻⚒️

Mark Noble’s 2016 praise of West Ham’s ownership will haunt the club for as long as its ringmaster remains in town. My piece on the events of the last few days (and the last nine years), for LondonWorld 👇🏻⚒️ londonworld.com/sport/mark-nob…

Weird trend forming at West Ham… David Moyes’ last game: v. Man City Julen Lopetegui’s first game: v. Aston Villa Julen Lopetegui’s last game: v. Man City Graham Potter’s first game: v. Aston Villa All eyes on the next time we play Man City… 😅⚒️

I’m seeing some fans complaining that the Evan Ferguson deal is only a loan. “We’re just going to be developing him for Brighton!” These are the same fans who would be kicking off and calling David Sullivan childish names if we just didn’t bother signing a striker at all. ⚒️

Despite obvious confidence issues, Mo Kudus’ problem this season is also down to teams doubling and sometimes trippling up on him. He doesn’t have the same amount of time and space on the ball as he did last season. The best players adapt to that and find a way. He hasn’t. ⚒️

“BOWEN IS BETTER THAN SAKA” ⚒ James Jones believes the Arsenal winger is “overrated” & West Ham’s captain deserves far more respect 👀 #COYI #WHUFC #GOYG

James Jones (@byjamesjones) 's Twitter Profile Photo

“Soucek does fuck all from midfield anyway.” Think the 41 goals and 13 assists in 245 games might disagree with you there. That’s a goal contribution every 4.5 games, by the way. But he lacks pace and isn’t Brazilian, so gets disrespected at every turn. ⚒️

Lots of complaints about the £55m price-tag for Mo Kudus. The lad scored 5 goals last season and was mostly a complete waste of wages for the entire year. Only seems cheap because his release clause was so unreasonably high. We’ve had Spurs’ pants down. Irons. ⚒️

James Jones (@byjamesjones) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Mixed response. Several “he was being played out of position” replies. Bowen has regularly played out of position for 2 years. In that time he’s scored 34 goals. Exactly 50% of them came out of position, including a hat-trick. Top players adapt. Kudus couldn’t.

UPDATE: Potter set to be sacked! ❌ Nuno Espirito Santo in line to become West Ham’s new manager if a severance agreement can be reached over his Nottingham Forest exit ⚒👀

James Jones (@byjamesjones) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I’m sorry but there are too many fans saying they’d back Slaven Bilic replacing Graham Potter purely because “he loves the club.” That is the weakest argument going. I love the club but that doesn’t make me fit to take the job. He is not the right appointment. End of. ⚒️
