The US is funding an ethnic cleansing and the only person in congress who has introduced a bill to stop sending only $500 million to Israel is Majorie Taylor Greene. Only 6 others voted yes. We are cooked.

Absolutely enraging and heartbreaking. Tell me more about how denying children food is part of them defending themselves against Hamas. Pure evil.

At my new prac site and it's the first time working with insurance. Not taking insurance is now my number one priority when I open up my own practice.

I'm at the oh shit moment in my dissertation where I am realizing I probably was a little naive in my estimation with just how much work it would take to integrate Levinas into my dissertation.

The grip Nick Fuentes, Charlie Kirk etc (especially Fuentes) has on white men and women is scary and needs to be taken seriously. I’m not talking about high school boys, I’m talking about serious men and women who are soon going to be going into powerful positions. All religious.

Passed! On to collecting data. Super elated. Got really encouraging feedback, especially from my committee member who’s a Levinasian scholar. I think there’s a ton of research to be done on my tool with its relationship to collectivist cultures.

I think this highlights something a lot of clinicians get wrong about Levinas. Infinite responsibility is not something we achieve, rather it is the fundamental intersubjective reality that makes something like compassion possible in the first place.

Just submitted a conference proposal titled 'Tears as Prayer: A Phenomenology of Language, Fragility and Hospitality in Levinas and Chretien' This is part of my on going project of bringing Levinas into the therapy and caregiver relationship.
