With Memorial Day fast approaching we would like to remind Kayakers, on Saturday May 24th, the Operation Anvil WWII reenactment will be taking place at Phil Moore Park and creek access, on the Olde Stone side will be blocked off until late afternoon.

Drakes Creek access on the Olde Stone side of Phil Moore Park will be closed off for Operation Anvil until after the event concludes sometime around 4:00pm on Saturday May 24th. Romanza Johnson remains closed due to the road condition.

The rains last night have pushed Drakes Creek into Red Flag 🚩 conditions and more rain is expected today. Access points at Phil Moore Park will be closed today. Romanza Johnson Park remains closed due to the road closure.

With water discharge approaching red flag conditions, we are going to close access points at Phil Moore Park (on both sides of the park) until the discharge rate takes a dip back towards yellow flag conditions. Romanza Johnson Park remains closed due to the road closure.

Access points at Phil Moore Park are now opened back up.
