Y13 student Mya has been selected as a finalist for her HE+ project investigating antibiotic resistance. Mya scored an impressive 23 out of a possible 24 marks and has been invited to attend a celebration of her work at the University of Cambridge next month. Well done Mya!

Today we rewarded Y13 students who have 100% attendance to Directed Independent Learning. These students have each already completed over 56 extra hours of revision. Collectively, Y13 have completed over 7,500 hours so far this academic year. Keep up the great work Y13!

This week, our talented Year 13 Drama students performed their final exam pieces in front of a visiting examiner. There were performances in the style of Stanislavski and Artaud. We are very proud of them and the appreciative Year 12 Drama students who were in the audience.

Y12 students have had a great day at Cambridge University as part of their HE+ programme. Students had the opportunity to tour Homerton College, attend lectures and familiarise themselves with Cambridge centre.

Year 12 had a fantastic day at the Maths Inspiration Show in Bradford. Students had the opportunity to engage with inspiring mathematics speakers who demonstrated real-world applications of maths. Dr Tom Crawford, showcased how complex formulas can help tackle ocean plastic.

🇮🇸ICELAND VISIT 2025🇮🇸 After a very early start this morning, our A Level Geography students arrived in Iceland and delved directly into their educational activities. Students saw real life examples of lava flows and hot springs which are key parts of their A Level curriculum.
