⁦European Parliament⁩ committees in charge of security, defence and industry, energy approved the European #Defence Industry Programme (#EDIP )leading to the start of institutional negotiations on strengthening of European defence industry and supply of defence products.

Today we are supporting the second 🇪🇺🇺🇦 Defence Industry Forum, a key event to strengthen our joint security - just a few days after HR/VP Kaja Kallas announced € 1 billion for 🇺🇦 defence industry during her visit to #Ukraine #EUForeignPolicy

Joined discussion in European Parliament #Readiness2030 New Framework for UA EU Partnership, organized by WeBuildUkraine Together we should be ready in advance. SAFE instrument is a great opportunity to speed up process & bring cooperation of UA EU defence industries at a new quality level.

Took part in discussion at European Parliament on liberation of UA POWs & peace talks. Testimonies of former POWs remind of urgent need to continue pressure on ru to respect IHL. We call for all-for-all POW exchange & urge to ensure justice & accountability.

During conference Childhood During War in European Parliament we discussed steps to support 🇺🇦children affected by war & importance of UA-EU cooperation. It is our duty to ensure that no child is left alone with war & relevant international assistance is managed in a most effective way.
