The past few days I've been exploring to possibilities guided procedural generation for large-scale worlds. In this case, I'm generating mountains from sphere brushes. The new MetaGraph/Landmass framework in the WIP Voxel Plugin 2.0 opens up a lot of cool doors for this stuff.

A realistic beech forest generated in 15s using Voxel Plugin's new foliage system for Unreal Engine. Full geo trees from Quixel, rendered through Nanite with Lumen and VSMs. There's more to be done, but I'm pretty happy with the results so far. #ue5 #gamedev #indiedev
