📍JUST IN : Please be informed that the SRC Parliamentary Council will vet nominees for the SRC Electoral Commission and the Chief Justice’s office today, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, starting at 9:00am in University Hall 1’ Junior Common Room (JCR). Stay tuned ☑️

LNUGS, UENR has publicly opposed the SRC’s organization of an unapproved student awards event, reiterating that such functions are exclusively under LNUGS, UENR’s jurisdiction. Stay tuned ☑️

The SRC Parliament responded to issues related to the SRC-NUGS award scheme conflict, stating that LNUGS does not have the power to block SRC initiatives. They highlighted that any award scheme proposal must undergo constitutional processes, including approval by Parliament.👀

❗️UPDATE The LNUGS President apologized unconditionally after the recent student awards controversy and confirmed that the conflict has been resolved, as the SRC has agreed to halt its competing awards scheme. Stay tuned ☑️
