Now hearing how #DetectionDogs ConservationK9sUK is working with #HenHarrier Task Force on #BirdOfPrey Crime. Dogs can find birds, sat tags, poisons, ammo & other items. Dogs have a higher efficiency than human searches, reducing manpower needed. A valuable tool in #WildlifeCrime
Our wildlife crime officer, Mark, is at the 35th UK Wildlife Crime Enforcement Conference and met the 1st Wildlife Crime sniffer dog in training, named Pudding, and Louise from ConservationK9sUK. Dogs are used in wildlife detection and monitoring and can even find bat carcasses.
