In a major crackdown against illegal drug trafficking, CSMI Airport, Zone-III Mumbai, on 2/3 June, seized 8.6 kg of hydroponic weed, valued at ₹8.6 crore in the illicit market, concealed in the baggage's of 3 passengers arriving from Thailand. The traffickers were arrested.

Customs officers at CSMI Airport, Mumbai Customs Zone-III foiled yet another wild life smuggling attempt, 16 live snakes-Garter, Rhino Rat, Albino Rat, Kenyan Sand Boa, CA King etc. seized from passenger returning from Thailand. Passenger arrested. Further investigation underway.
