Genesee County Offices will shift their hours of operation from the previous hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm to the summer hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. As in years past, this slight shift of hours will not affect the total number of hours that County Offices will be open to the public.

UPDATE/ALERT: The Air Quality Alert remains in effect in the #GLOW region until midnight. As of 6 a.m., the #AQI stood at 122, classified as "unhealthy for sensitive groups," an improvement of over 50 points from Wednesday. Widespread #haze is expected to continue until 2 p.m.

UPDATE/ALERT: The AIR QUALITY ALERT continues through midnight tonight for #NYS including the #GLOW region. As of 6 a.m., the #AQI registered at 153, an increase of about 30 points from Thursday a.m. & is now classified as being in the red "unhealthy" zone. #canadianfires
