Amazing news Danum Gallery, Library and Museum! So pleased that History, Health and Happiness have won the Age Friendly Outreach Award at this year's Fantastic for Families awards. I'm so proud to have worked on setting this amazing programme of activity up and can't wait to see what the team do next.
What a way to spend an evening! Fantastic to be at the last night of the Museum of the Moon at Rotherham Minster with @FluxRotherham, as part of the Rotherham Creative Network panel. My first panel in my new role Wentworth Woodhouse. Fab to check out @waynesables's #TheGlasshouse too.

Today is the first GLAM Cares conference on care. It's been a brilliant morning with incredible speakers. I'm reminded that work with communities is powerful, and that the best examples of community engagement are delivered in a culture of care. #GLAMCares2024
At #GLAMCares2024 we have explored Radical Rest. Rest is most effective when it is collective and mandatory. Kate Oliver also asked us what rest would look like for us today... Really good food for thought.
I think this image sums up today! It was really reflective, honest, authentic and just really lovely to be in a room with so many lovely people talking about care and wellbeing in the GLAM sector. Thank you GLAM Cares #GLAMCares2024
Today was brilliant. So many thoughtful and engaging speakers, several of which will mean I make changes in my practice. The best bit though was being in a room with people who "get it"- and finally getting all the GLAM Cares board in one place! My cup is well and truly full.
