Tax Extenders package may be a vehicle to amend employer penalty for failing to respond to requests for info. I am meeting with committee staff to pave the way for end of year amendment. Stay tuned.

New proposal by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) would require states to pay unemployment compensation to individuals who claim to have been stalked or harassed even when no direct connection to work. See Section 702 of HR 6545
